This training session provides a foundational understanding of treaties in Canada, emphasizing their historical context, legal significance, and current implementation. We’ll explore the duty to consult and how meaningful engagement with Indigenous communities is both a legal requirement and a path toward building respectful, mutually beneficial relationships. Learn practical insights into how businesses, governments, and organizations can work in partnership with Indigenous Peoples to advance economic reconciliation and support shared prosperity and long-term sustainability.
